This place was perfect for a short smokey mountain getaway. Six people stayed here comfortably. It had everything that was needed and it was very clean. It is SLIGHTLY tricky to find. I found that Google Maps did a better job than Waze to get me to the cabin. But let me tell you why its worth it. The home is loaded with books and games. The fire place isn't just for looks and does a great job heating the cabin. The theater room was a nice spot for everyone to gather at the end of the day and watch some movies.
And the absolute best part, BEARS. While we were sitting in the hot tub one night, a bear walked up to us. He stood back about 15-20 feet and sniffed around a little bit and then kept walking. That was AWESOME. The next morning while drinking our coffee another bear showed up and this one actually tried to open the car door. He just pawed at it a little bit and didn't damage anything.
If bears are what you want, this place has them.
The cabin was in a great location and felt secluded and peaceful!
Great place to stay, secluded area. Seen a bear on the main driveway. Only thing is the driveway is a little tight for turning around bigger vehicles
