Guests love this place
Guests love the forest views from every deck, the spotless cleanliness, and the perfect balance of seclusion and convenience. The hot tub, ping pong table, and arcade games are guest favorites, and Matt and Tracey go above and beyond with their quick, caring communication.
"Loved our stay at Bearolina on my Mind! The hot tub was nice and large! The cabin was clean and cozy. Could use a few updates but exactly as I’d expect for a cabin in the mountains. Only down side was the upstairs bed makes a lot of noise on the wood floor. Might suggest putting a rug underneath the bed. Also, we passed the cabin on the way in because our gps had us come in at the opposite angle of the driveway. Might need an extra sign on the other side of the driveway if possible. The host is super quick and responsive for any little thing you may need. I’d stay at this cabin again!"
Alyssa"Matt &Tracey have been wonderful hosts!
Their cabin is just beautiful! It contains all of the amenities and more! ! It was the perfect set up for our family ! Great location to enjoy a nice weekend in the mountains! Thank you !"
Melissa"We stayed for a week and had an amazing time! The cabin was beautiful and Matt and Tracy responded quickly to everything! We saw 3 bears while there, which was pretty amazing to see! Over all it was a great experience and a great cabin to stay at! We hope to return sometime!"
Renee"We enjoyed our stay at Matt & Tracey’s cabin! Everything was as described/pictured. Would definitely stay again!"
Renee"Great place too stay they’re amazing at responding back as quick as they can an when asked for recommendations on fishing spots they delivered"
Cameron"My family traveled from Pa. To enjoy the Great Smokey Mtns. The cabin had all the features of home. We did bring food in and occasionally went down the mountain for excursions. In the park; Greenbrier cove is so much fun for a swimming hole. If you love a quiet, peaceful place to shut off your brain, this cabin will make it happen!"
Karen"Our family had a wonderful time. Place was perfect cabin in the mountains, had all the amenities and everything you needed. Kitchen was well stocked, living room was spacious, along with gaming for the kids/adults. Lots of outdoor seating whether on back deck, front deck with swing or area by a fire. Covered porch was a hit for our kids with the hot tub and ping pong table. Location was perfect, felt away from the busy towns of gatlingburg and pigeon forge, but close to the national park, town for grocery and activities. We will definitely be back again. Thanks so much"
Ryan"Overall, the stay was just okay. Matt & Tracey were excellent with responding to any issues, but there were many.
1. WiFi was in & out due to weather, but there is also no service at the house. It had been an issue the week prior but they were not proactive about it. This caused a problem because I had a foster child with me and no access to communication while there.
2. EVERYTHING was noisy. The doors were noisy, the dishwasher was noisy, the floors were noisy etc.
3. On theme with the noises, the upstairs King bed was LOUD to get in and out of. It woke up the house when getting in and out, which made it hard for everyone to sleep.
4. The location was convenient, but not private. We did see a big bear!
5. This is NOT a handicap accessible home, and I wish that was shown. There is a lot of stairs to get into the home, but also, the main floor bathroom only has a tub. The upstairs bathroom has the shower.
6. The hot tub was wonderful. Best part of the home by far. It was clean!"
Jaycie"Loved, loved, loved this cabin! It is one of the best places i have ever stayed and it is worth all the cost. They were gracious host and very helpful with all our needs. Would definitely revisit in the future!"
