absolutely gorgeous views! unfortunately we never got the fireplace to work and it was extremely cold the first 2 nights as the small heating unit took a very long time since it was off when we arrived. also, the front door lock is broken and after reading the reviews has been broken for quite a while. still had an amazing stay, the beds were super comfortable and the hot tub was amazing as well!
Truly felt at home! Comfortable and had all the things we needed. The view was beautiful and there was plenty of outdoor seating. Everything was clean and easy to find.
The view is incredible! Bree and James were really nice. You are at the top of the mountain so the roads are steep and curvy. I would suggest checking your GPS(maps) ahead of time before getting on the road as certain GPS apps will take you behind the mountains to get to the cabin instead of keeping you on the interstate. which was very scary as the road didn’t have guard rails and sometimes lost phone signal. The cabin was nice but the rooms are small and with the large beds/tv the space in the rooms are really tight. The apartment style 4th bedroom is separate from the other rooms. The only entrance is from the outside of the house. so if you are ok with separating your guests this wouldn’t be a problem for you. Also the cabin is very far away from restaurants and about 30 minutes away from grocery stores so I would recommend to stop and get groceries or your essentials before getting to the cabin as the roads are very dark at night.
We loved this cabin!! The views and the outdoor sitting area to enjoy them were spectacular!! We used GPS and it lead us right there! The listing photos and descriptions were exactly what we got! Bree and James reached out during the trip to make sure all was well! Would definitely stay here again.
Bree & James's Cabin was amazing and had possibly the best view we've experienced. The surroundings are quiet. The place was clean and has great amenities. It is fairly isolated due to being a mountain top cabin. I do recommend to others that you should preplan well to reduce trips in which you need to drive. Stores and Restaurants are a decent drive away which eats up quite a bit of time when wanting to explorer the area. This isnt negative against the host or location but rather a factor for planning your trip. I would gladly go back and spend and entire weekend relaxing at the Cabin exclusively. We spent one full day away from the cabin and in Gatlinburg just due to drive times to an from. however this was planned and worked out great.
all of the amenities existed and functioned without issue. We were very pleased.
